Ladies and Gentlemen.....Under the Big Top

It has been a while since my last post, but it seems like every time I sit down to create, summer breezes, family, or life itself gets in the way.
Today is a bit rainy, so I had to seize the moment!

I just received the CAROUSEL cart for my birthday and just had to try it.
I am really trying to keep up with my scrapbooking since grandbaby, Maddix, is here.

The background paper is from the Debbie Mum stack.
All cuts are from the Carousel cart except for the HAND, which is from GP.
There are so many cool images and the font is amazing.  The only thing is that the letters are really fragile.  "Maddix" is cut @ 1 1/2" and I had to be really careful both getting it off the mat and adhering to the back.
I was quite pleased with the end result.

I'm blue....

I was thinking of my dear grandson, Maddix, and just had to send him something via snail mail.
He's been feeling a little "under the weather" and although I know he is much too young to remember anything, I think it will bring a smile to his parents.  Everyone loves Eeyore....what a face!

I only used Disney's Pooh and Friends cart.  It has the cutest images.
This is a 5x7 card.  The base is white cardstock matted with  sky and grass print papers.
I used the treehouse (pg.57), Eeyore (pg.52), clouds (pg.36), sun (pg.21), and the grass (pg.29).
All images were cut in shadow, base, and layers. Tree, clouds, and sun were embossed with CB and popped for dimension.
A personal sentiment added to the inside and Maddix' first card is complete.

BBQ!

My step-father will be celebrating his 80th birthday this July, and I will be hosting the family BBQ celebration.
Although it will be a small affair of only 10-15 guests, I wanted to make it special.
I used BlockParty for the cuts and put the party info on the back.

I matted the tangerine cardstock with a matching printed paper, popped the burger, hotdog, and BBQ, and embossed the images using my CB.
It really is a cute and fun invitation.  I love this cart!
