Happy Mother's Day, my Dear Daughter-In-Law

My dear daughter-in-law will be enjoying her first Mother's Day this year,

and I wanted to tell her what a wonderful job she is doing.

As a full-time teacher and working mom, she is juggling all life throws at her quite well,

and a few words of encouragement and congratulations are certainly due her.

Since I will be entering this in the FCCB challenge "Save the Earth" this week,

I am starting out by recycling this take-out bag from Red Lobster.

All of the image cuts are from Garden Soup.

I love to use a garden theme when making springtime projects.

I have added a coordinating card that I made from the Damask Decor cart.

The images on this cartridge are amazing, and I am trying to use it more in my designs.

This shaped card is very unique and I just love the matching shape

that was used for the background.

I embossed the card base before adding the background image.

The flower is made of scalloped circles and the flower image on top of

a quirky set of leaves.

After adding a butterfly embellishment that I found in my stash of items,

I added some jewels, brown ribbon, and a button with baker's twine to finish off the front.

The inside looks cool with the embossing, ribbon, and white button.

Matting, card sentiment, and a personal message finish off the inside

of this card.

I am so pleased with this project and am sure my dear SDIL will enjoy it too.
