Happy Birthday!

My DIL is having a surprise party this weekend
for her 30th birthday.
As you all know, I love to revamp gift bags,
so this is a remake of a Bath & Body Works bag.
I started with the birthday cake from SYI cut @ 5"
I used the shadow and layers of the same size
and embossed each one in a different style.
The Happy Birthday is an SVG cut,
and is popped for dimension along with the candles on the cake top.
The other side started with the coordinated pink mat,
topped with a CB embossed "happy birthday" white mat.
The scrollwork and "K" are from SB and is cut on pink and black glitter paper.
The 3D bow is a free SVG cut and I knew I just had to try it!
The bow is cut from purple glitter paper and is accented
by sprigs from my favorite MS punch.
The cute little dragonflies are punched from various shiny stock.
To finish it all off, I added coordinating tissue paper.....
and of course, her gift!
This bag is so much prettier than the picture shows -
the embossing and glitter papers really make it special!

Thank you

I made this card to thank my dear friends, Brian and Lynn.
As a "thank you" to me for taking card of their horses while they
were away for a few days, they gave me a lovely fountain.
So, as a thank you in return, I made this card.

The thank you is from NR, the fencing is OW,
the grass is PS, and the horse is Noah's ABCs.
I punched the edges with my new Fiskar's punch that I won in
a contest last week!  (I love it!)
The horse was embossed and popped for dimension.

The fall leaf cluster is a free SVG cut.
A personal message and this simple card is complete.
I will be entering it in the
TFL!

Nature's Splendor

Here is my inspirational project for the end of summer.
I started with a lime green center-step card that is 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 when finished.

The zebra is a free SVG file that I found online,
and it is absolutely gorgeous!
The plant is PDDU and is cut 2x and popped.
The butterfly is HD and is cut 3x and popped.
The dragonfly and the bottom banner are punches that I use all the time.

To add some bling to the front, I used Glossy Accents
on the zebra eye and nose, small green gemstones on the banner,
while the dragonflies and butterfly are cut from glitter paper.
There is so much dimension on the front of this 3D card that
it naturally catches the eye as you pass by it.

The inside is finished with an original verse situated
on the top end of the cardstock so you may add a personal sentiment before sending.
The butterfly stamp has been colored with pencils
and "blinged" with Glossy Accents on the wings and bubbles.
The green gems were repeated to enhance the antennae.
I just love the finished project and look forward to your comments.

Whoooo's there?

As I have said, I really don't make a lot
of projects for Halloween, but since I have gotten the
Happy Hauntings cart...that's all I have done!

Here is a recycled gift bag that I have turned into
a h'owling trick or treat wrapper.

I started by stamping the entire bag,
front and back, with my cute spider web.
Shadowed by a black mat,
I added a purple gingham frame for my owl centerpiece.
All of the image cuts are from HH.
The large yellow moon is inked and embossed,
while the owl and spider are popped for dimension.
For some added bling,
that scary little bat in the corner has green gemstones for his eyes.

I will add some orange tissue to the inside
before stuffing this bag with either tricks or treats
to finish it off.

I'll get you my pretty!

Although I don't do a lot for Halloween, since I purchased the
Midnight Jamboree from SVG Cuts, I just can't stop until I make all the projects!
This vintage witch card is "hauntingly" amazing!

The card base itself is made in 2 pieces and then adhered together.
I started with a sturdy black cardstock,
and lined the inside with a cute spider web paper.
I chose a bright yellow to pop the moon and
coordinating papers for the witch, ending with purple glitter stock for her hair.
A small orange bow on her broom and some bling along her cape
finishes off the front.

The inside starts off with the same bright yellow cardstock that
not only gives this project another dimension but also
has been stamped with my favorite spider web.
The small spider is cut from Happy Hauntings and the stars
are leftovers from the cardfront.

Open it up, and you are greeted by "BOO!" which
is also from HH.  A personal message may be added to the inside
of the yellow flap to finish your card.
