Double Happiness

I designed this card while watching DWTS last night.  Although I am not a "reality TV" person, I do like this one!

I wanted to come up with a design that incorporated an Asian flair.  The card front frame, shadow, and "double happiness" along with the flourish on the inside are SVGs and were cut with SCAL.  The corners were punched, the flower is handmade and accented with a button and branches from the MS branch punch.
The sentiment is computer generated, inked, and popped.  The blue frame and inside mat are embossed with Cuttlebug.

The inside sentiment coinsides with the "double happiness" on the front and is also embossed with Cuttlebug.
I was quite pleased with the final product.  TFL!
I am going to enter this card in the FCC challenge this week - # 52 Happy Birthday

  1. Gorgeous card! The inside looks lovely too. So often the inside gets neglected. It's funny that you mentioned DWTS. I recorded it and watched it today. I've never seen it before, but when I saw that Ralph Maccio was on there, I had to watch! Gosh, he still looks same! Love it and now, I'm hooked! :p Thanks so much for playing along over at FCCB! Great job!
