Ruby Red Poinsettia

I love to "make-over" gift bags,
and since I do a lot of shopping at my local Bath & Body Works,
their bags are a staple in my house!  The gingham design provides the
perfect backdrop for any gift-giving occasion.

I started by using a holiday themed mat set to cover up the logo,
then added a "forgotten" frame and poinsettia from a project long ago.
The glitter papers, embossing, popping of the petals make
this Christmas flower truly beautiful.
Another leftover sentiment from my holiday cards and a
pretty burgandy and pink ribbon finish off this side.

I am trying to learn how to color and blend with my pencils,
and I have to admit that I need a lot of practice, but I did
add the same ribbon to this colored stamp (it was a craft store purchase),
embossed the sparkly mat and spritzed it with antiquing ink
to give it a vintage look.
This bag is just waiting for Santa to fill it with presents for some
good little girl or boy...I love it!

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
TFL!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!
